E-Science

Escience Program

Undergraduate entrepreneurship program open to all College of Arts & Science majors.  The program focuses on the commercialization of university research through spearheaded student-faculty partnerships.  This is a "hands on" program with the goal of starting new business ventures in the Miami Area.  The Escience program is coordinated by the Office of Entrepreneurial Science and collaborates with  the Colleges of Business & Engineering and local entrepreneurs.

Escience Internship

Undergraduate internship in a faculty laboratory with emphasis on finding commercial applications of the laboratory's ongoing research.  Prerequisite (GEB 4113) or  taken concurrently.

Escience Tracks

The College of Arts & Science is currently working with the Physics department in implementing the first Entrepreneurial Track focusing on technology venture creations.
